Prologue[]
Slink awoke to the sound of the other aliens waking up and climbing out of their sleeping alkoves. Most of them were diggers but their were still a couple of his fellow stalkers, along with some black mayflies. He got up, shook of the dust that clung to his pelt, and started to pad down to the main cavern where some of the other aliens were picking fights with each other, and those who were to timid or simply prefered not to test their streingth against others, were either just walking around or were taking large bites out of the victims that they had found while patroling the borders of what used to be the UNCC's top bases. "Ho Slink." said a stalker that had just stepped out of his sleeping hole. "Ho Pike," Slink replyed, "Let me guess, its my turn to feed the boss, isn't it?" "Thats correct." He grinned at Slink, "Don't let him think that your going to feed him...personely, if you know what I mean." Unfortunetly Slink did know what he meant, after all, he and a couple other aliens had been the witnisses when a digger had proven what Pike meant. After that Slink had never wanted to go near those deadly teeth. But it was his turn, and he decided that it wasn't too bad, seeing as he only did it once a week. He took hold of the strap that was attached to the cart of meat that Pike pushed towords him, then started out towords the cave in witch a huge beast awaited him.
Chapter 1[]
Niner stood before the miror in his room. "Good morning gentlemen, I'm your new commander," How Scorch would have laughed at him now, "Um...soooo, we will be practicing at umm...15:00 sharp." He slapped his head with frustration. "WHY AM I SO BAD AT PRETENDING THAT I'M A LEADER?!!" He shouted at his reflection. He started slaping his head until he calmed down, than he heard a nock at the door, "Commander, are you alright in there? All the men are waiting for you." Commander, he still wasn't used to that word, especially when it was directed at him. "Yes I'll be there in a second." More like three hours he thought. He didn't know why he had been asigned to a army, Genral Morgan had just mumbled, "Here's a army for you, no big deal!" But it was a big deal, he had never he had only ever been in a squad before, and even then Harper had been the leader. But now he had to be strong, he had to be the commander that he was now. He stood up from his bed, put on his helmet and marched out the door in to the corridor, than he turned right, took a deep breath and went through the door.
There were more soldiers than he had expected. "Good evening, gentlmen," He saluted them, some of them saluted him back. "When I salute you, I expect you to salute me back," He said to the men who hadn't saluted him. "Yes sir!" said one of them than saluted him. Niner was pleased. "Now, what are your names?" One by one they told him their names, Zen, Jay, Cole, Bull's eye, Hardbringer, Nyke, Jack, Ringo, Waxer...then Niner came to the one who had brightly saluted him, "And whats youre name?" He asked him."PT023 sir." Someone snickered from behind the front row. "I mean a name, what, never had a name before?" PT023 shook his head,"No sir." "Well than we should give you a name, shouldn't we boys?" Murmmers of agreement. "What's your specialty?" "Hacking computers sir." "How about Hacker, Fixer or Slicer then?" "Slicer sounds good." "Watch out boys, don't let Slicer get to your computers!" They all laughed. This is going to be easier than I thought, he relized.
Chapter 2
Niner watched as his men practiced fighting with stuner guns. He had split them up into two different teams in a capture the flag. So far things were going well, Blue team was ganning the upper hand, Jay had stolen the red team's flag, wich took skill seeing as he had an MZ in hand, than Slicer had taken the flag, thrown it in a metal box that he had purchased, and sealed it shut, while Bull's eye proved that he had been named for a reason by sniping every member of the enemy team that came near. The Red team weren't too bad there selves. Jack was right there in the middle of the battle feild, stunning four or five enemys each he time he popped up from behind the packing crate. Cole was also doing very well.
As soon as they were done Niner said, "Good job, Bull's eye that was some fine sniping I saw out there." "Thank you sir." He replied. "He wasn't named Bull's eye for nothing!" Said Jay, "You were good too, Jay." Niner told him, "You've got some nice MZ skill in'ya." "Thanks sir." Sudenly the alarm went off and Niner heard someone say into a microphone, "Attention! Dragon army, Andromedae army and Draco army, report to the barracks at once! Code red, code red!" They all ran strate towords the baracks.
They all lined up in front of the genral that had ordered them all to come here. "Listen up men, the aliens have attacked UBW-594244...again," He said,"That planet is a valuable mithril source, and you all know how much those diggers want mithril, your mission is to defend that mithril, we don't know exactly how many there are. Now grab your gear and go!"
Chapter 3

Chapter 4
The battle was going smoothly, they had only lost seven men and Ringo and another medic, that Niner had never learned the name of, barely had any work to do besides shooting diggers, of course. Suddenly Niner's built in radio buzzed. "Hello? This is Gen. Morgan, over." "I'm here sir." "Oh...I was half hoping that you were not." "So what is it?" "Scouts report that Siegefried has been spotted in your area, evacuate now!" "Negitave sir, I won't let the aliens keep this base. Plus, I've got a score to settle with ol' Siegie." "So what, your going to commit suicide by jumping infront of one of the most dangerous aliens to fly over UBW? Okay. But I suggest that you evacuate your troops." Niner turned off the radio. "Alright people, lets head to these coordinates!" He sent the coordinates to everybody's HUDs. Slowly they mannaged to get closer and closer to where Niner knew Siegefried was hiding. And then they heard his roar. "SIEGEFRIED, HERE WE COME!!!" Niner shouted. Everybody cheered and started running toward the sound.
And there he was, in all his fiery might, Siegefried! "Time to show this boss who's boss! Everybody hold this line, I'm heading in!" NIner commanded. "Sir, with all do respect, you are not going there alone!" Shouted Cole. "Fine, I'll take Cole, Jay, Bull'seye and Slicer." "Sir, yes sir!" They started running down the slope as fast as they could. Niner shot his laser gun at the beast. It roared, whirled around, and shot a breath of deadly fire towards Niner. He ducked and said, "Really? Is that all you've got?!" He shot his gun again and again, while Jay shot with his MZ, Bull'seye spamed his sniper, Slicer shot his shotgun, and Cole distracted him with his windblade. Niner swiched to his rocket launcher, "This is for Harper!" He shouted as he pressed the trigger. *BOOM!* *ROOAAAR* "...And this for Scorch!" "...And this is for Jet!" The last rocket hit and you could see that Siegefried was tired and in pain, but he was determined, too. He let out a mighty roar, flicked his tail at Jay, and sent the soldier flying. It was then that Niner that there were several holes in the ground, just the right sizes for mines. "Troops get out of here!" "But-" "NOW!" It was the same answer that Harper had given him. A single tear streaked down Niner's cheek. The men retreated. Niner took out a mine bomb from his pack, and threw it into one of the holes. He did the same with all the others. He realized that the detonation remote's radious was to small for him to detonate the mines from where his comrades were, so he would have too do it......here. He took the remote detonater out of his pack and yelled, "I'LL SEE YOU IN HELL, SIEGEFRIED!!!!!!"
He pressed the button.
The explosin was massive. But it was not as big as Niner's sacrafice.
Epilogue
Dragon army lived to be a great clan. Cole had been apointed commander, Jay had healed from his wounds, Slicer hbecame a famouse hacker, and Ringo had one day had left to seek revenge on whoever had created Siegefried. Niner was never forgotten by those who knew him. Even Gen. Morgan confeced that Niner had been brave to sacrefice himself, although he would never admit that he had said such a thing.
