I was talking about the merging ONLY for me. Since I am making a clan, I of course want my tag on my GameCenter, but I also want to show (SWT) and [AC-V]. But then I would have 3 clan tags. So I wanted to make my GameCenter (SWT/AC-V)Stryker_86[LFS]. Please don't make everyone merge theirs; this was NOT what I wanted.
Transferring the blog isn't that hard: you just need to know how to rename it correctly.
The bigger problem, however, is that you've currently given full control of the text to Stryker 86. I recommend you guys clarify what you want to do before taking any action. What I can recommend is that all of you control some parts of the main blog using template coding, so that all three of you are capable of adding names to the list -- but only one person will be able to control the description text itself.
Additionally, based on various comments I've seen, I suggest you clearly determine who has what level of authority in the clan. I don't actually see any clear definition in your hierarchy any longer: while Stryker and Erin clearly operate under Dragonfighter's authority, I'm finding that recent activity is blurring the lines between the relation between the "Founder" and the "Owner". Your clan's affairs are generally none of my business, but I recommend you sort that out to smooth over the dynamics of the clan, since its activities are publicly viewable to the wiki.
I am actually King Shoot.I made this account to go around my first ban.I just couldn't go out of all of this.I kinda love this Wiki.
One day after I was benned i made a new accout.I wanted to start fresh, avoiding all profanity, cursing on chat, pretending to not know anybody, making a new Game Center, starting the game from scratch so no one will notice that it is actualy King Shoot,me.
I even joined the Railgun Syndicate,as it would be too suspicious if i joined (SWT) or TSO.
I understand that this might get me banned again,I understand it VERY well. But I just couldn't give up.I won't cause any trouble, like i didn't in the past 2 months,I just want to be able at least to comment on pages or on the forum.
If you do ban me,I want to say it has been good on the Wiki, also to say Undead and Silent have been good friends, congratulate Stryker on becomming a Chat Moderator, wish all luck to my fellow clanmates and say a goodbye to RisingFlames,Firefalcon, you and all the new members.
Everyone messes up in something but there always is the chance that person can make up for what you did. I know it is not my right to have an opinion but I will just say some people deserve another chance. I have not been around here long (my account). But, I've been watching all this time without an account I think he has turned over to a new leaf.
You're an admin of the wiki -- changing something from the admin dashboard generally forces it to change for everyone.
There are ways to modify the appearance of the wiki for yourself only, but most of them involve having a custom CSS skin. I've only got rudimentary knowledge of how to use it, and I'm not sure if other users have better knowledge of its usage.
It looks as if the commenting section in the SWT member list is getting quite bogged down, so I'm going to ask it here on Stryker 86's behalf.
There's a way for you to automatically make all the contents of one page show up on another page. If you allow Stryker to create an SWT members list blog of his own, you can then use some code to make all the contents of his blog display in your own member list as well, alongside your own content.
What this means is that whenever Stryker tests and passes a new applicant to SWT, he can simply add it to his own blog -- and it will automatically show up in your blog too. This will save him the trouble of having to constantly contact you to update the member list in your blog.
This effect can also be disabled at any point by simply removing the code used to render the content from Stryker's blog, so if you entrust this ability to anyone and then change your mind, you can prevent those changes from showing up on your own blog with a single edit.
If you're interested, please let me know, and I'll tell you two how to set it up. Stryker seems keen on the idea, and I'd personally recommend it if he's a recruitment officer you trust.
I'm not sure what the second part of your question means, so I'll answer what I understood of it:
If you put that code at the very top of your blog, the contents of Stryker's blog will appear first. All the stuff you've written will appear underneath his text.
If you put the code at the very bottom, then the text in his blog will only start appearing after everything else you've typed.
You will not see any notifications whatsoever on your blog when Stryker edits or updates his blog, because nothing in your actual blog's text has been changed or edited -- there's just a piece of code which tells the wiki to display all the text in Stryker's blog, whatever it is at the time.
I can directly modify the infobox template so that instead of a blue header, it's red. You won't see any signs of me editing your profile, because that's not the page where I made the edit -- it's the template itself. Your page simply has some code saying "display everything from the infobox template".
The above set-up was designed to allow Stryker to influence a small section of your blog by editing his own blog.
The way you've done it right now, you can still add names to your own blog by adding it underneath where you've inserted the template code -- but you can no longer edit the majority of the text without relying on the fact that you're an admin, who can directly edit other people's blogs.
What I do NOT suggest you do edit Stryker's blog directly by means of those admin capabilities. While that is indeed one way of updating the SWT list while giving Stryker some control, that is a unique personal advantage that you have because you are an admin. You may soon have other clans requesting adminship simply for this one ability.
The issue if you use it like that is that the admin capabilities are being used for personal benefit, when you were entrusted with those capabilities more to help the wiki rather than yourself. If you're happy with Stryker having full control of the member list, then this set-up is completely fine -- but if you still want to edit the text yourself, I think ethical issues will be raised if you use your admin capabilities to directly edit Stryker's blog.
