Armor[]

Definition[]

Photo

Armor is the root of how HP is obtained. Each armor piece will grant a set amount of hitpoints, while wearing the full set will give additional bonuses (speed, POW, HP, etc.) Some armor pieces give additional boosts such as gold, experience, and power bonuses. There are four different sections of armor released in both Star Warfare games: Head, Chest, Hands, and Legs.

You can mix and match your armor to fit the statistics you want in the customization screen (e.g. you can wear the Hydra head, Pheonix hands, Atom chest, and Titan legs). Or you can just do it just to see which combination looks the best for you.

Armor Sets/Suits[]

Armor sets contain suit bonuses. The suit bonus is only active when you have all 4 of the same armor pieces. Suit Bonuses may provide the following bonuses:

  • Additional Gold % Bonus
  • Additional Power % Bonus
  • Additional Exp % Bonus
  • Increased Power to specific weapons (Beam, Rocket Launchers)
  • Increased Defense to all forms of damage
  • Increased Defense to specific attacks (Melee)
  • Speed Bonus
  • HP Regeneration
  • Life Leech (gain life per kill)
  • Special active abilities/skills (e.g. power, speed boost, or heal)
  • Special abilities that activate only in certain conditions (e.g. immunity)

Backpacks[]

Backpacks contain the weapons and assist items that a player has chosen to bring with them. In order for a player to use a weapon, they must have placed it into their backpack prior to entering a room. Backpacks are mainly used as assist items or bonuses in addition to health. Backpacks may carry additional attributes including:

  • Increases to HP, Defense, Speed, Power, Gold and EXP bonuses
  • Team supporting abilities (damage reduction, HP regeneration, power increase, immunity)
  • Special abilities/skills which can be selectively activated
  • Unique abilities which may activate under certain conditions (e.g. while taking damage)

Comparing Armor Sets to Hybrid Armor[]

Hybrid Armor refers to equipping an incongruent mix of armor from multiple different sets. This is commonly done to optimize certain statistics or bonuses, such as power or gold bonuses.

Recommended Mixed Armor/Armor Sets for the following:

Gold Bonus - Black Hole/Phoenix/Perseus Head + Dec.24 Hands + X-Field Chest + Andromedae Legs = 45% Gold Bonus. Add Jin.Jingle as your Backpack and it totals a 80% bonus to gold.

Power Bonus - There are two different sets that may affect the way you fight. Wrath Head (+15%), Thunder Hands (+20%), Perseus Chest (+10), and R.O.M.E/Black Hole (+5%) = 50% power + Jin.Jingle as a backpack totals +80% power. The other set is not mixed, simply equip the Thunder Armorset. It contains an ability that allows you to add 50% power, plus the 10% that's with the set itself, and any backpack makes this set the armor that packs the most power in each hit. As it only has 20,000 HP, it is highly recommended that you use defensive backpacks such as Visnu, Tri-O-Avatar, or TT-05-B.

Speed - The highest base speed in the game so far is 11. You need the full Cygni Armor, which is roughly 9 million Gold, or the R.O.M.E Armor. For the set, they give 9 speed. If you add STK-06-ZZ/Jin.Jingle/D-Wings, you can get a maximum of 11 speed. To achieve the maximum speed possible, equip Thunder armor, F.L.O.A.T/D-Wings, and a NOS Booster. The Thunder and F.L.O.A.T ability combined with the booster totals to 15 speed. When the player is being damaged while equipping the D-Wings(+1 speed) and has the Thunder ability active, combined with the NOS booster, that totals to 15 speed as well. That means you can travel faster than a Black Disk!

EXP - It's a tie between 3 Sets: Pegasus, Draco, and Perseus Armor Sets. For the backpack, the one that gives the most is Jin.Jingle, totalling 30% exp Bonus. See Optimized Equipment Configurations for more info
